Amazons

Amazons are an all women nation who live in the Amazons and lush Forest and Jungles of the Southern Island. They are known to be feared Warriors of the Land of the South. Very few men settle to the south afraid to be taken by these Amazonian Women. Some work and ally along Side Barbarians in the wild avoiding civilization set in their cultural region and to some people are merely people with savage ways. Amazons are known to seek mates at the right of age (18 or older) in order to be impregnated with a strong man's child. This ensures strength to the four tribes and ensures a chance at the reproduction of the Amazon society. On occasion some Women bring their men into their society and the roles of the relation are reversed as the man caters to the women than the women catering to the man. The Men are expected to clean the home, care for kids, and nurture the live stock etc.

Amazons normally don’t have male children and only have a 10% Chance to having Male Children and at times a 2% Chance in having Male Twins. A 1% is opportunity to have Two daughters which many desire. A child born in Death is said to be a Child of the Damn and must be buried a sacrifice of the Mother's Blood to appease Valkyrie the War Goddess. (Normally at a Crit 20 a Child is considered Dead at Birth). The most famed and known Amazonian is Geisha Everlynn whom married a strong man named Ferros Everlynn whom had Two Twins birth on the Day of the Runes and carries the Mark of the Runes. Very few Amazonian Children are gifted with this and remain sane. Most become wild and at times Amazon Children are untamable by the mark of the runes.

In Amazon society a Amazonian Woman sticks beside women and keeps close to her Sisters for company than the men in the outside world unless Barbarian, since Barbarians know of the Amazons and their ways. Amazons are like any normal woman except they wear skins or hides of that which are revealing having no trouble with nudity or wearing revealing clothing. Even though in Modern society these savage women's clothing is repulsive to some the amazons find it as a no problem situation. They find less that wears you down the more conventional when ready to battle. Very few travel alone in the outside world and some times join Sister Hoods or Guilds. They do not like the Daughters of Light or Daughters of Darkness finding they are Witch Women and their belief to be dangerous.

Amazon faith is relying upon the War Goddess Valkyrie whom they praise to make their people strong warriors to come. They're life revolves around Gathering, Faith, and Training. The life of the Amazon is one of barter and trade knowing quite well various skills that help them upon their travels. Such famed Skills are the Charm and Seduction skill which they use to manipulate or take advantage if the situation is right. They also know Several Lores and animal calls. They are widely known for their empathy and training of riding animals. Because of these skills an Amazon can successfully live out in the forest our Jungles of the world with no problem.

Amazons Favor their Skill at the Bow as well as the Elves does having used bows for hunting and killing prey from the concealment of the Jungle. They are also known to use the Chakrum and One hand Sword Skillfully with out fault making them lethal in combat with these items. They care to wear Leathers and non-metallic armors that won't weight them down much. Because of the light armors an Amazon can use a skill of Swiftness increasing their Ability to Dodge Attacks and Increase their ability in Dodge Ratio. The Amazons skills are what make them deadly and the use of these Combinations makes them even more dangerous.

There are Four Clans of Amazons each with their own view of the world and their own beliefs. Nimtoc the Clan of Amazons are a Medical type clan learning the powers of Healing to perform and aid their Sisters and who are quite peaceful and pacifist like. A’sarrin the Normal Amazon Tribe have a bit of disbelief in the Man's Society believing one day Man's Empire will fall and it will be up to the Women to rebuild the World and Rehja the Clan of Warriors who Worship highly the Goddess Valkyrie and their Champion Geisha a very Warrioristic Tribe. Mehandi are the Darker of the amazons they are in truce and peace with their other Sisters and are far more brutal treating men as slaves and see them much lesser than them. The Mehandi are more inclined to dominate than settle affairs peacefully. They are feared in the Southern West Region of the Southern Island and are seen as ruthless when people trespass in their jungles. For now they have peace with the Jade Tavern liking the man and woman who runs it there.

Quirk: Amazons are known to use their Seduction and Charm Skill a lot to prevent targets from attacking them or doing things they would like them to do.

Natural Race Abilities

Swiftness: Adds +3 to Dodge Ratio (DR) and must be stated when used in a Dodge. A Amazon may use this ability equal to the amount of their Reflex per day.

Amazon Lore: When it comes to identifying primitive or magical items of the wilds an Amazon gets a +4 in Lore Checks this also can be used as if they had four Ranks in the skill Lore.

Animal Training: Amazons get +2 to Handle Animal and Ride

Athletics: When it comes to any form of Athletics Amazons get +2

Craft: Spears and Leather Craft rolls get a +2 when making items with said properties.

Survival: When in forest or jungles Amazons get +@ to Survival Checks

Knowledge of Areas: Amazons get +4 Ranks to recall information of the Jungle from Dangers, Shelters, Knowledge, and Tools of the Jungle.

Knowledge of Nature: +4 on Nature Checks on Knowledge of the Nature around the Jungle. From Animals, Plants, Topography, and any form of use of information of the area.

Listening: Amazons get a +2 Bonus to listen in normal areas but a +4 when in Forests in Jungles being more familiar with such areas than others.

Sight: Amazons gets +2 on any Sight Checks

Medical Treatment: When applying medical herbs or any natural item the healing property is doubled due to the use of herbs in the jungle.

Poisons: Amazons get a +2 to resist any form of Poison

Call of the Wild: This has two functions this can summon 1 riding animal of the jungle if a d20 roll is made and the difficulty of 10 is beaten. An Amazon can add here Social to the roll for a better chance. Second a form of Rage the second use increases the Health, Damage, ATR, and DR of the Amazon +5 for as many rounds Equal to their power. However this can only be used twice a day and never more.

Favorite Armor: Leather or Hide Armor of medium or light weight works best for Amazons giving them a +2 DR bonus when equipped.

Favorite Weapon: Spears, Knives, Swords, and Long Range Weapons +2 to ATR Melee or Range where it can apply to their favorite weapons.
