Forest Elves

Forest Elves are considered the most common of Elves. They live in light lush green forest and live by the support of Nature. Forest Elves make Natural Rangers and Woods Guides and fairly well Hunters. They know an array of Forests Flora and Fauna knowing their woods and the woods of any place fairly well. A Forest Elf diet mainly consist of berries, salads, and occasionally fish, they are not heavy on the red meat and do not drink Human liquors well unless it's Elvin wines. A Forest Elf is raised utilizing their natural sense of touch, smell, and sight in order to preserve the forest and keep their skills up when roaming the forest. Forest Elves craft the most wonderful bows for hunting and are know to celebrate the two Festivals of the Season of Spring and Fall. The Spring Festival is a day of joy and they wear bright festive colors to celebrate the festivities of rebirth to the Forest. Where as the Festival for Fall they wear tan and autumn colors to the festival some what joyous but to morn the passing and rest of the forest as it degenerates to slumber for the Winter Season. The Forest Elves still remain active preparing for Winter and beginning the preparation for Winter work. Forest Elves work well as groups although their society is not complex they have one strict rule. All of nature is to be kept in balance and never harmed with treated respect. Seeing the trees or woodland creatures harmed with out forgiveness is disrespectful to the Goddesses of Nature.

It is known that Forest Elves have a tendency to attack those that hunt in their woods and are weary of humans that hunt in their woods and defile it. They at times play mean tricks putting out their fires or casting Forest Magic upon them like Tangle Weeds upon travelers at night. They at time give aid to Bards loving to hear music and tales of other lands welcoming them to their home. They even offer lodging in their village if there are weary Adventurers that respect the woods. Forest Elves are very afraid and not trusting of Vampire, Demons, Mazoku, and Succubus. These creatures are natural enemies of Forests and ward them off as much as they can reasonably before striking. Most Forest Elves that travel and see such beings try to keep their relations small with them not wishing their people to think of them ill for associating with such monsters. Although it is said never to judge a book by its cover Forest Elves are reserve and normally don’t associate with those that are not of the woods. Forest Elves however do get along with a certain beasts of the forest such as the Gaian and Nepharian races. These large predators depending on the clan get along very well with the Forest Elf especially the Gaian or Nepharian Clans that live in the Woods. These humorous and rather agile fighters help preserve the woods and nature respecting Oda and Gaia as their deity and will aid any forest Elf in protecting their homes. In their Society Forest Elves have a Mayor similar to having an Elder which can be male or Female and at times have a small Forest Guard who protect the woods folk, who know the woods, shoot well with bows, and can cast Forest Magic well.

Of their appearance Forest Elves are small people ranging from 5’4” to 5’8” wearing traditional green colored garbs for clothing and resemble Brownies though Brownies are a bit more vindictive than Forest Elves and are not even Elves to begin with. They also have Forest color hair that represents colors of spring and autumn, eyes that range from brown to green and skin that is normally colors of pale to dark brown. Most Forest Elves take to being Druids or Bards though in some rare cases as an adventurer they become Archers yet none know what they may be as an Adventurer. The Forest Elves being closely found in regions such as Morganna and Midguard are seen as the guardians of special Forests or Cairns. This place is normally where their village is and tries to persuade any from entering this region if they are not welcome or wandering guests.

Quirk: Forest Elves range from a good variety of Forest related Professions and seems to do well in them. Most characters who take this natural advantage tend to do well and can offer not only themselves but the party assistance when coming across Woods or Forest although a jungle isn’t their easiest forte.
