Halflings
As an Adventurer a Halfling tends to do what they can to support their
friends being raised of a good heart but some tend to enjoy taking advantage of
others. Halflings don’t make the greatest warriors because for them anything
of a single hand weapon is a two handed weapon for them and a knife of human
size would be a single hand weapon. They tend to do well in the magical arts, as
bards, and surprisingly enough as Rouges because of their height and swiftness
they are difficult to catch. Although many Halflings walk their own path but
these are the most seen professions a Halfling has chosen as an Adventurer. Racial Abilities Weaker
Strength: A Halfling is only half the size of a Human so they have a reduce
Power Penalty of a -2 and can only wear Light and Medium Armors. They can only
use Knife size weapons as a single hand weapon and any single hand weapon is
wielded as a two handed weapon for a Halfling. Swift:
When a Halfling makes a Reflex Check or a Dodge Roll they get a +2 Circumstance
to that roll. Due to their size they are difficult targets to hit and are quick
on their feet to compensate for their lack of strength. Class
Bonus: A Halfling gets a +2 circumstance bonus to any roll that applies to
the Professions Bard, Cleric, Spell Caster/Magi, or Rouge Class. They are well
outfitted to these professions and their ability to make up for their size in
these classes are strong. Excellent
Cook: When a Skill Check on Domestic Arts applies to cooking a Halfling gets
a +5 bonus to any cooking rolls. Also when cooking for himself or the party any
meal eaten before a nights rest heals any status as well as restores 2d6 Hit
points to each person that eats the Halfling’s food. Knowledge
Area: When at Hills or Forests a Halfling has a keen sense of direction and
knowledge of them. The Halfling gets a +5 Circumstance Bonus to any Skill Checks
that Apply Knowledge of Area: Forests and Hills. Appraisal:
Having done much trading a Halfling can make an Appraisal Check D20 + Mind Bonus
and beat a Difficulty of 10 to see if the trade or material of an object is
truly its worth in money. This skill can be taught to other people at a cost of
20Exp and if the Halfling wants can charge a price to teach this skill. |
