Moon Elves

Strangest of all Elves are the Moon Elf whom inhabits the Dark Wood forest in Negocia. Moon Elves seem to be an oddity to the World of Everlynn and have been said to be nocturnal although it has been rumored to see one on rare occasion during the day. The Moon Elves seem to adore and pay homage to the Moon Goddess Selena who is known as the creator of the Korusco. The Moon Elves seem to celebrate a feast each phase of the moon and are seen to be very friendly and hospitable. They tend to avoid battles unless necessary seeing no point in useless bloodshed. They are known to be great negotiators in diplomats as well as make excellent Druids being one with nature. Their society has a main Female Elder whom leads the current village or clan. She is given the Title Se'viour meaning (our savior) in their language. They live in forests or small cities usually in hiding from being notice by enemies or others.

The Moon elves associate well with the Korusco as well as the Gaians having good ties and relations with both races. Moon Elf society is not as sophisticated as other Elvin societies. They are merely gathers and live off the woods they inhabit having a strict vegetarian diet. They also tend to protect it with a passion stopping poachers and Hunters whom would take more than what they need from their forests. They welcome any of the Elvin races though they tend to stay from the human race and many others than the Gaian. They fear for their woods that some day man will destroy them all having seen prophecies and record mentioning that man will one day ruin the woods of the world.

A Moon elf tends to have pale bluish skin yet some have a soft velvet or lavender hide. Their eyes are mainly shades of blue and some as rare as it is have a pale moonlight glow around the iris. Their hair ranges from a pale color from white to a pale brown. They are never seen with any dark shade of hair color or even have black color hair. The closest to black in the Moon Elf society has been a pale color of Raven. They average in a height of 5'4" to 57" not being very tall. The men tend to become 5'9" some times though those that are appear very physical and masculine.

Moon Elves work in balance with nature taking from it but also helping Nature growth and Have not only faith in Selena but the Nature Goddesses as well. Most worship the Moon Goddess Selena for it is she during the full moon makes the bounty of their food more and their power stronger at a Full moon. They also worship smaller deities such as the Goddess of the Nature and Seasons. They are known to be excellent at the skill of the Woods being far superior to a Woods guide. Moon Elves are known to be Great Druids and Archers

Natural Race Abilities

Acute Hearing: Upon a Listen Check Elves gain a Natural +4 that does not hinder them in maxing out the skill Rank but does give them an advantage.

Sensitive Touch: No matter what you can tell each and every detail of an item, object, or person. This Sensitive touch all works as an extra sensory when the Elf is touching a Surface it is like a photogenic memory to recall the detail and design of an object with their touch sensory ability. Of coarse an Elf can adjust this sensory touch so as to not overwhelm them with any other touch application.

Exceptional Sight: Elves gain a +4 to any Sight Checks made and it being a natural bonus does not hinder to their max ranks and permits to add on even when 20 Ranks has been met.

Balance Vision: A Moon Elf can see both in the light and dark naturally by adjusting their iris to allow certain amount of light in as to retain from being hampered at night or by daylight.

Moon bonus: At night a Moon Elf is livelier and therefore is quicker to react when the Moon is out. This gives a +2 circumstance bonus that can be used to any Skill, ATR, and DR roll.

Favorite Weapons: Moon Elves enjoy the use of the Bow Type and Long Range weapons. The close Melee weapon they enjoy using are Spears. These Weapons gain them a +2 to ATR.

Favorite Armor: Heavy armor is not the best Armor for a Moon Elf. Because of their Prowess in Jumping they do not wish anything to weigh them down when they land on a branch of a tree. When they do wear heavy armor they must make a Weight Check. Their Weight plus the Armor's Soak as total weight will decide if they are to heavy for the branch of the tree.

Equipment penalties: Heavy Armor negates their ability to use Jump Prowess. It is the only equipment handicap that harms a Moon Elf.
