Negocians

Negocian culture and customs are rather different than that of other continents. Damier have had a great influence upon the women of this continent and made several of them Sisters to them because of this a lot of customs and cultures were used with in Human Negocian society. Women are seen as the figure head in place of men showing they are the most dominant species on this continent. The woman are the ones who hold office or positions of power to prevent men from corrupting society or causing harm. Though the men of Negocian women are treated fairly and given even rights to preserve the nation from falling as it almost once did during the War of the Gods men are not permitted to gain seats of power.

Long in their history men have caused Negocia to fall lower and lower into recession. At the point of the War of the Gods the men in Negocia through their lot with the gods that desired to return everything to the old and to their order. But most the women in Negocia including the Damier grew tired of man’s tyranny and follies. Women rose against their male suppressors and took Negocia by a storm granting their people freedom. Because of this Damier only breed women children and the Negocian women carefully monitor activities by men.

Negocian women are the head of any household though they still do womanly things the lioness decides of the pride and not the lion. Negocian women also have one capitol that no man can enter called La Fem a place for only women to preside. Here many can become a Shrine Maiden a form of pure and Holy Cleric untaken by the taint of man nor know the existence of man. There is but another order known as the Daughter of Light who are Shrine Maidens honored with the task of restoring forgotten knowledge and history as well as guarding the White Seal in the Southern Islands .

The men, although female position, care for their children and homes letting the women worry about jobs and such things. Most are use to this existence and some even help with half the work and responsibility in the house. The continent is mainly an agriculture and silk producer supplying most food products to other places and themselves. The men learn to be great Warriors to defend their country becoming valiant Swordsmen of the White Seal hoping to one day be bestowed the honor and charge as a Shrine Maiden’s Guardian as she offer enlightenment, blessing, and peace to those on her travels. Swordsmen of the White Seal gains this title and honor when they have taken a Shrine Maiden as their charge. Some points this union creates a relationship of love and is seen as a glory to witness the Shrine Maiden and Swordsmen of the White Seal unify in marriage. This reminds many of how the old ways once were when man and woman in Negocia could be together on even grounds before the Evil Kings in the past once ruled.

Race Abilities

Natural +1> A human gets a +1 to any Action they do since they become naturally well in performing it regularly. This can be applied to any Skill Roll since as they progress in their knowledge or skill they get much better at it quickly. Whether they have ranks, no ranks, or maxed Ranks this Natural +1 will always apply.

Class Bonus: When a Negocian takes the Cleric Profession and becomes a Shrine Maiden she gets a +2 to any of her Shrine Maiden Skill or Ability Rolls. This would mean since her youth she has always been a Shrine Maiden and therefore know the ways of this faith. Those who become Swordsmen can become the Charge of a Shrine Maiden getting the Title Swordsmen of the White Seal. This is only if they are a Swordsman and ask to be the charge of a Shrine Maiden and was accepted. This title grants the Swordsmen of the White Seal access to Clerical powers that the Shrine Maiden possesses as well as their weapon being able to apply Holy Damage. However these gifts are lost if the Swordsmen of the White Seal leaves his charge or is dismissed by his charge. A Swordsmen can be either Negocian male or Female and any other person who is a Swordsmen.
