Wild Elves
In their savage culture they also believe to sacrifice and torture their
captives of battle offering their heart to the War God offering it as a blessing
to feed from the heart to gain the power and skill of their enemy. Although
their belief in the gods is strong they still lack the use of magic but due
believe in prayers and miracles. Their Head priest or priestess is usually a
woman who takes into Forest Magic and Shamanism and in most cases become a Druid
of their forest. The people work hard to make money of other lands so they can
send their children to learn these skills or skills of other trade to teach
their people. They think those Warriors who fight with their mind, their blades,
and their tongue make exceptionally well soldiers. Near summer’s end a
Festival of spirits is held where they can praise and thank their ancestors for
their knowledge and seek their guidance and warnings. Wild Elves know an
assortment of poison plants and medical plants having knowledge of Herbal
medicine and mixing of toxins. The Wild Elves also protect any Artifacts left by
the Gods. The Fire Sword Magma is said to lay deep in the jungles where the
river is fire lives the beast of their people whom they offer every beginning
month food or their enemies to protect the sacred relic of their people. They
feel they were entrusted with this Great weapon so that some day one of their
people or the chosen shall come and take the Weapon to bring their people to
freedom and safety from the confines of the Beast that lies with in the Volcano.
They wait for the Savior to bring them from their worst of Days from the Darkest
of Terror and the deepest peril where their people will suffer a horrible
illness and fate. Quirk:
Wild Elves unlike any Elves are ferocious fighters and wield some Magics well.
They range from the height of 4'4" to 6' being one of the tallest of Elvin
races. They are very close to family and very well culture orientated. Thus
other Elvin races are consider little cousins due to the height difference and
they are very physical in a show of thanks and joy. They are known for the Elvin
Bear Hugs that cause most Elvin races to squeak oddly enough. Wild Elves are
more physical bested for combat than in the back row as archers or casters. Natural
Race Abilities Tracking:
The skill for a Wild Elf is Jungle Tracking no matter where in a Jungle they can
find whomever they are looking for searching for distinct changes or scents in
the Jungle. A D20 Mind Check is made at a Difficulty 10 to find any changes to
the jungle scenery or tracks left by their target. Animal
Kinship: A Wild Elf has learned by the spirits of the ancestors and the
knowledge of their elders to speak with animal. This is like a natural language
for the Wild Elves being able to speak the language of their animal brothers and
sisters whom they live in harmony with in their tribes. Wild Elves must make a
Social Check Difficulty 10 in order to make contact with the animal and not
scare it off or cause it to be Hostile. If the creature becomes hostile it
creates a Difficulty +8 causing it to be harder to communicate with the hostile
animal. Acute
Hearing: Upon a Listen Check Elves gain a Natural +4 that does not hinder
them in maxing out the skill Rank but does give them an advantage. Sensitive
Touch: No matter what you can tell each and every detail of an item, object,
or person. This Sensitive touch all works as an extra sensory when the Elf is
touching a Surface it is like a photogenic memory to recall the detail and
design of an object with their touch sensory ability. Of coarse an Elf can
adjust this sensory touch so as to not overwhelm them with any other touch
application. Exceptional
Sight: Elves gain a +4 to any Sight Checks made and it being a natural bonus
does not hinder to their max ranks and permits to add on even when 20 Ranks has
been met. Beast
Sight: Whenever a Wild Elf is in contact of another animal he or she can see
the memories of recent or day passed visions. This allows a Wild Elf information
of an animal’s memories and can also be used to see through their eyes as long
as they meditate. The Wild Elf must keep in contact of the target animal with in
a 50ft radius or the ability wears off. Poison
Immunity: Simple poisons don't work on them but anything like foreign venoms
outside the jungle for example ocean poisons, swamps, etc. will affect them. Favorite
Weapons: The two handed sword or spear show to be the Wild Elves Favorite
weapons. They can wield these weapons with a +2 to ATR having been raised in wielding
these weapons at youth. Favorite Armor: Wild Elves prefer Medium armor not wanting to weigh to much but not have to light of protection avoiding the fact stronger is better. This gives them a +1 to Dodge and is the most affective armor for them. |
